iPhone users have been urged to update their iOS to the latest version, 14.4, after 3 security vulnerabilities were discovered on the operating system. Apple is warning that these security vulnerabilities “may have already been actively exploited.”

According to a support document by Apple, the first vulnerability in the operating system’s Kernel could allow a malicious application to “elevate privileges.”

The other two security flaws, CVE-2021-1871 and CVE-2021-1870, could allow a remote hacker to execute code via Apple’s WebKit, which enables the Safari browser to operate on the platform.

It’s highly important to update your iOS to the latest version as soon as possible since the new updates contain patches to these security vulnerabilities.
